Porsche showcases its sports cars at the Bangkok Motor Show 2022
Porsche Thailand presented by AAS Group showcases 9 super sports cars and launches the New Porsche Taycan GTS for the first time in Southeast Asia at Bangkok International Motor Show 2022 during 21 March – 3 April 2022 at Challenger Hall, Impact Muang Thong Thani.
Porsche offers a wide range of sports cars in order to impress and reflect the image of the spirit of innovation as well as endless development as they are considered to be the most successful German sports car brand in 2021 in terms of regional performance and market share in the electric vehicle segment.
The overall sales in Thailand compared to the same period last year has increased by 107% in 2021, primarily driven by demand for Porsche electric vehicle products, the BEV electric vehicle and the plug-in PHEV that generated more total sales of 85% in Thailand. One in four Porsche cars sold in Thailand will be battery-powered electric cars.
As a leader in electric vehicles, Porsche Thailand has announced plans to expand its network of high-powered DC charging stations as there are international connections in the Southeast Asia area. The partnership with Shell enhances the aim of achieving a better result which is the pollution-free country-crossing journey from Bangkok down to Malaysia and forward to Singapore.
Porsche Thailand plays a significant role in driving the promotion of useful information to people who have the goal of finding their dreams in their own way through unique events such as Das Treffen, the region’s largest gathering of Porsche cars. Additionally, it also supports and inspires young people with Wonderfruit Festival and SCOPES activities, as well as dedicating itself to bringing leading brand experiences closer to the community, such as Porsche Studio Bangkok ICONSIAM, located in the city center area.

The Porsche exhibition area is located at the 43rd Bangkok International Motor Show which features nine exciting sports cars, including the New 911 GTS, Cayenne Coupé with Lightweight Package, 718 Boxster T, 718 Cayman T, Taycan 4S Cross Turismo, Panamera 4 E-Hybrid Executive, Cayenne E-Hybrid, Cayenne E-Hybrid Coupé and Macan S, all are displayed.
