Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Black Edition ซึ่งใช้พื้นฐานจากเกรด G ที่เป็นเกรดกลางของ Outlander PHEV ในญี่ปุ่นมาพร้อมกับการเพิ่มความสปอร์ตเเข้มรอบคันตามชื่อ ด้วยการมีทั้งกระจังหน้า แผ่นกันกระแทกทั้งที่กันชนหน้าและกันชนหลัง รวมทั้งกระจกมองข้างเป็นสีดำ นอกจากนี้ยังมีเสา B-Pillar และเสาที่ประตูหลังของรถเป็นสีดำเงา พร้อมมีล้ออลูมินัมขนาด 20 นิ้วสีดำ Outlander PHEV Black Edition ยังมี 4 สีทูโทนและ 2 สีโมโนโทนให้เลือกสำหรับภายนอกรถ รวมทั้งสีทูโทนใหม่เทา Titanium Gray Metallic/ดำ Black Mica ส่วนในห้องโดยสารของรถที่มีทั้งแบบ 5 ที่นั่งและ 7 ที่นั่งให้เลือกมีความเปลี่ยนแปลงจากเกรดที่ใช้เป็นพื้นฐานไม่มาก ด้วยการคงธีมความเข้มจากภายนอกรถกับเพดานสีดำ และมีแผงเกียร์ที่ถูกออกแบบโดยเฉพาะพร้อมการสลักด้วยเลเซอร์
