The Pan America 1250 Special is also added with the payload control system whose function is to measure the weight of the rider, passenger and baggage with sensors in order to select the best collapse distance for the suspension by automatically adjusting the rear preload.

The semi-active suspension will respond to the position of the suspension, vehicle speed, vertical acceleration, Bump and tilt rate, throttle, input, brake and some riding modes to maintain the desired settings with 5 preset programs which is related to each riding mode
