The 43rd Bangkok International Motor Show had a busy debut this year, with the introduction of compact sedans in both popular and luxury models.

All-New Honda Civic e:HEV

It is not too late to snatch attention from the competitors. It cannot be anything else, but the return of the 11th generation Honda Civic compact sedan, a hybrid engine, on an official name “All-New Honda Civic e:HEV” which was launched on the second day of the 43rd Bangkok International Motor Show.

The All-New Civic e:HEV comes with the new e:HEV, a full hybrid power drive technology combining the powerful combination of two electric motors with the 2.0-liter Direct Injection Atkinson-Cycle DOHC and Honda SENSING safety technology.

In addition, the All-New Civic e:HEV’s sleek and sporty design has been enhanced with chrome accents. The cabin is spacious and comfortable on the inside, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. A 60:40 split-folding rear seat provides more usable space while also allowing the rear air vents to flow freely. It also comes with a Honda Smart Key Card. The estimated price of the e:HEV EL+ model is 1,150,000 baht, and the e:HEV RS model is 1,270,000 baht.

New Mazda3 MY2022

The New Mazda3, the popular premium sports sedan and the winner of the World’s Best Car Design Award, is the world’s top three automobiles. It also received awards for the Best Hatchback under 2,000 cc from the Car of the Year 2022 event. It’s based on the concept of “Awakening Your Soul,” which aims to reawaken your athletic instincts while also allowing you to express your individuality.

The eye-catching design includes an electric sunroof in the latest color scheme for bronze and platinum quartz, which is very popular at the moment. The New Mazda3 is available in both a 4-door sedan and a 5-door fastback with the starting price of 979,000 baht

New Mercedes-Benz C-Class

The 6th generation Mercedes-Benz C-Class of The New Baby Luxury, which debuted for the first time at the 43rd Bangkok International Motor Show 2022, is another model that offers thrilling driving performance. The C 220 d has a 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine. It has a new Mild-Hybrid system that efficiently generates and distributes electricity to keep the vehicle’s electrical system running. A special electric motor system, 48V Technology, provides a maximum power of 15 kW / 200 Nm. The engine can generate a total power of up to 200 horsepower at 3,600 rev/min and a torque of 440 Nm at 1,800-2,800 rev/minutes generating a maximum speed of 245 km/h that comes with a 9-speed automatic transmission (9G-TRONIC).

The exterior design of the New C-Class features Mercedes’ signature Star Pattern Grille. The LED High-Performance headlights have been adjusted to be small and slender to give a wider brightness. The front bumper has been redesigned to emphasize sporty design. The rear design features LED tail lights, and the next level down features an incredible rear bumper with twin exhaust frames on both sides and large alloy wheels in a variety of styles.

The interior design, which is based on the S-Class, goes even further, with a large 12.3-inch high-definition screen in front of the driver. The display can be set up in three different ways, each with its own set of operating modes: navigation, assistance, and service. Leather covers a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel. A large 11.9-inch vertical touch screen is included in the center console. For the MBUX, the entertainment system includes voice commands (Mercedes-Benz User Experience).

The new C-Class has a larger body in every dimension. This increases rear headroom by 11 mm and rear knee distance by 35 mm. IIt makes travel more comfortable for both the driver and passengers, especially in the back seats. A capacity of up to 66 liters gives more freedom to travel than ever before. Mercedes-Benz Thailand has introduced two new C-Class models, the C 220 d Avantgarde priced at 2,590,000 and the C 220 d AMG Dynamic priced at 2,990,000 baht.

Lexus IS 300h

Lexus IS (Intelligent Sport) is a luxury rear-drive sports sedan that is part of a premium compact sedan lineup. It features a sleek and sporty design as well as a powerful performance that makes it ideal for on-road driving. The driver can go beyond the limits of the original driving performance with quick responsive control and good acceleration.

The development is based on car road design and testing at the Shimoyama Circuit in Japan, which was inspired by Germany’s most difficult race track, the Nürburgring.
